🌼 Wild Goats Farm — May Newsletter 🌼
Spring is in full swing, and so are we!
Hey farm friends! We’re excited to share that Wild Goats Farm officially opens in May, and we have a packed month full of fun, fuzzy faces, and unforgettable family memories.
🧹 Help Us Get Ready – Farm Clean-Up Day! Monday, April 22nd Come lend a hand as we spruce up the farm for opening day! Everyone who helps out will earn a free day on the farm to use in May. Kiddos are welcome — we’ll have farm chores just their size! It’s a fun, meaningful way to get involved, meet the animals early, and be part of the Wild Goats Farm crew.
🚌 Field Trip Season is Here! Our calendar is filling up with school visits — we’re thrilled to welcome so many curious kids ready to meet our goats, learn about farm life, and enjoy the great outdoors.
🌸 Mother’s Day Tea – Saturday, May 10th Celebrate the special women in your life with a relaxing afternoon on the farm. Enjoy tea, treats, and time with the animals in a beautiful country setting. Spaces are limited — don’t miss this sweet day out!
🎉 Spring Fling – Saturday, May 24th Looking for fun activities for the whole family? Come out for games, snacks, animals, and springtime magic at our Spring Fling! We’ll be open to the public all day — it’s the perfect way to kick off Memorial Day weekend.
🐐 Private Visits Available We now offer private evening and Sunday visits for a more personal, peaceful experience. These are great for birthdays, small groups, or just some quiet time with our herd.
✂️ Shearing Day – Monday, May 5th It’s haircut time! Our shearers will be giving the goats their summer cuts — come by and watch the process (and the post-shear zoomies)!
👟 Farm Rules & What to Wear We want everyone to have a safe, respectful, and joy-filled time at the farm! Please keep these friendly reminders in mind:
🧺 What to Wear:
Closed-toe shoes or boots — it’s a farm, it might get muddy!
Clothes you can move and play in — you might get dirty (and maybe a little goat hair too!)
Dress for the weather — hats, layers, or sunscreen as needed.
🐐 Farm Rules:
Be kind — no chasing, hitting, or rough play (with animals or people).
Be respectful of games & activities — they’re set up for your enjoyment!
Do not stand, sit, or climb on fences or gates.
If you open it, close it — especially gates and pens.
Never walk behind the animals — it helps keep everyone safe.
Feed only from the bowl — no hand feeding unless guided by staff.
Wash your hands often — especially after petting animals or before eating.
If you don’t know, ask! We love curious visitors and are happy to help.
Whether you're joining us for a field trip, special event, or just some goat cuddles, we can't wait to see you this spring.
