Our
Story
Welcome to Wild Goats Farm!
My name is Julie, a Clarksburg WV native and I'm excited to share with you the story of our family farm. Our farm has been in my husbands family for almost 200 years and we've decided to open our home to the public at the end of 2022. We are members of the WV Agritourism Association and WV farm Bureau.
We wanted to share the joy that our animals bring us with others. Our family of four runs the farm while working full-time jobs, but we're lucky to have flexible schedules that allow us to accommodate visits throughout the week.
We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the farm is clean and safe for every visit. We've been excited with the amount of visitors we've had over the past couple of months and can't wait to meet more of you!
We currently have 100 animals and love them all like they are our children. We have quite a few that love attention and would enjoy a visit from your family. Come and receive an Authentic Farm Experience in a remote location free from the hustle and bustle.
Remember to wear appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes when visiting a working farm. Boots are best. Bring extra shoes.
As you plan your visit, please keep in mind that we're one family taking on as many visits as we can while still maintaining our careers and family life. If we do not respond immediately we are busy with farm chores, visits, family, work and will get back to you as soon as our time has freed up. We appreciate your patience and kindness, and we hope you have a wonderful time at Wild Goats Farm!
We Look forward to seeing you on your Adventures at Wild Goats Farm and thank you for following along on this adventure of ours.
